10 MILLION EURO INVESTMENT
IN A HIGH-PERFORMANCE BORROW-PIT

Part of the products obtained in the borrow-pit is dedicated to the works we execute ourselves. However, the company provides mineral, river aggregates, in crushed condition, to the main companies managing concrete production facilities. Even if many companies prefer to manage both a borrow pit and a concrete production facility, in order to use their own raw material in the concrete production, we do not intend to create such a facility in the future.

NEF SERVICE SRL wishes to focus on the infrastructure works in progress at present, in order to become one of the top companies in the sector.

The sorting capacity of the new facility is 500 m3/hour. This is why important investments have been made in new equipment, while the small excavators the other machines have become useless. A new dredger has been bought. The investments in the new infrastructure and machines exceed 10 million Euro.

The first borrow-pit was opened at km. 49, next to the Bucharest – Pitesti motorway. It occupies more than 215 ha. (operational area) and produces five types of aggregates. The sorting facility is equipped with two sieves, the production capacity exceeding 215 m3/hour.

With the modernization of the sorting facility and due to a high demand of mineral aggregates, NEF Service SRL has purchased a new sorting facility, with a much higher output, as well as new land, reaching now an area of about 400 ha.
