8 MILLION EURO INVESTMENTS IN STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT

For the transport of aggregates, the company has a fleet of 40 tipper trucks. However, there are clients who choose to organize transport themselves. The materials are electronically weighed and the delivery note has the weighing note attached. The weighing note mentions the time of the weighing and the quantity expressed in tons. The procedure is now compulsory, but the company has been prepared for a long time to meet this requirement. Our desire was for the beneficiaries to know exactly the quantity received, without being it necessary to calculate the weight according to the volume of the tippers.

The transport to the end users is fast, mainly due to the location of the borrow pit next to the Bucharest – Pitesti motorway, which brings additional mobility. As a result of the increased demand and to the heavy traffic, extending the delivery time, the fleet has increased by 20%, with further purchase of trucks in March 2009.

Mercedes-Benz is the preferred type for the trucks, almost all the vehicles in the fleet bearing the mark of the German producer. The minor technical problems are fixed by our own mechanics, while for complex failures authorized service stations, i.e. CTE Trailers, are being used, both for trailers and for tractors.

NEF SERVICE SRL provides transport of the mineral aggregates by its own fleet, consisting of 40 Mercedes tractors with Langendorf trailers. The first such items were purchased in 2001 and, due to its high quality and liability, Langendorf is now the only mark of tippers in the company fleet.
